Hey guys; We just rolled in from Milan.. great show...glad we caught up with a few Hamb guys. Rick 1939 fiat & 65 chevy ..
Matt Bee- we must have been sitting right next to you. I have the same pictures (from the same angle) of the Screaming Eagle. I was the bald guy in the Billetproof Drags shirt with the wicked sunburn. LOL! It was definately a blast. The best part- my nine year old son saying "we should come more often" and not wanting to leave! THAT made my day! Thanks to everyone that put the event together. I had alot of fun! JK
Looks like it was a great time! Great weather! Son managed to get himself grounded, which meant I was too since I was the only one home.. When punishment backfires... THanks for sharing the pictures!!
WOW O WOW......... I went down there and met a hot chicky and gave her a ride to the back of the track then I made her screem (use your imagination here) (and keep it clean). Any guesses who that was. I had a great time there and meet alot of cool people as well as some REAL cool cars . Thanks big Steve and all who put on the show,it was a gas.
The event turned out perfect. It was great seeing old friends, and meeting some new ones. I would really like to thank the Great Lakes G***er, Al Bergler, John Logghe, and Bill Hallet for coming out and putting on an outstanding show. Thanks to the many Hambers that showed up. And most of all thanks to Mike Grosso and Milan Dragway for making this deal happen. Todd and I had an exceptional day. Todd tuned me to a couple of great runs in the funny car and then we fired the Hollish Bantam up with Joe Hollish making sure we did everything right. Next years event is already in the works. Steve Timoszyk
Great event, enjoyed running with the Great Lakes G***ers http://www.greatlakesg***ers.com/Home_Page.php This historic car was on display, The Blue Goose was the very first drag car down the Milan Dragway, competed in many national events back in the day.
