My pleasure Littleman, you are always more than
welcome at any of our events.Any questions, just ask,
and don't forget Rays' Yahoo group: http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/pinstriperspage/

I'm so glad you got to spend some time with Chip,
that was the highlight of my last trip to Lead East.
Hanging out and painting with Chip until 5:30 am.

    And he CAN paint.

His panel went for more than any other in the auction
that year. And this was before he was on TV.

Most people have NO idea how talented he is.

.........Dave, sorry I didn't make it this year. The photo of Foose smiling behind the wheel of DDS is priceless! I have taken a few shots of "Posie" talking with Clark "SoWhat" Bates at the open house and really value them. It is the mutual respect between the "big names" and the "little guys" (certainly no stature reference) that thrills me. Having a guy with Chip's current fame take the time to appreciate your efforts is pretty neat.
From meeting you last year, I realize that this is no ego trip for you........it's just nice to be appreciated!

As far as I can tell, Littleman's car is one of if not the most inspiring cars on the HAMB. Everytime I see it I want to go out to my own garage and do more on my own car. I wanted to build my car all by myself without sourcing anything out and he's living proof that it can be done. And done very well.

To steal a Jack Nicholson movie line with a twist -

'It makes me want to be a better builder'

Littleman, you're the best... Thanks for continually sharing.

I took 44 pictures of Deaths Doorstep. I wanted to say hi, but someone was talking your ear off the whole time. The next 4 times I came by, no one was there. I watched Troy Trepanier looking over your car and writing stuff down. I ***umed he was 'gathering ideas' or giving you an award... congrats on that one. Maybe I'll get to take some cool artsy shots at the HAMB Drags...

Littleman, Always great to see you.

I am glad you found a sponsor for your race car. Thanks for the hugs!

I would like to thank the fine citizens of Detroit for:

Stealing my floor jack out of my trailer
Stealing the leather bomber jacket from the Ionia guys
Stealing the mirrors off of Moriarity's truck
Stealing Fritz's Poster out of his striped trash can and taking the liberty to fill it with half eaten sausages and cups, even though it had all of his new T-shirts in it.

My truck broke down on Sunday, had to fix that. Brian's truck broke down on Monday.

Other than that I had a great time. I watched Matt's drunken public relations, that ruled. Junior, Mikey, and Clark made friends with the Emperors display. Dave Shuten striped the lander. Fay Butler enjoyed himself again this year. And all the hot tuner *****s were great.

I wasn't too hard to find. Especially on Saturday. I wan't moving too fast, I ate about 15 bucks worth of White Castle on Friday night......and then puked it all up.

A young dude named Elliot was roaming the ba*****t drawing pics of the cars. Here he is doing the lander, he even gave me the pic.

Pat Ganahl came by to check out the lander. I think this means that it stinks. Ha Ha Ha

    Clark and his new friends.

    Bob K....Like we didn't know.

Detroit was a blast as expected. It was good to meet and talk with a lot of you. I was even more impressed by Death's Door step in person and look forward to seeing more of it around Ohio. The Lunar lander was the bee's knees as expected. It was great fun just to stand by it and listen to people's comments and thoughts. I never ran into you though Plowboy to congratulate you. Someone pointed you out at a distance to me at the meet and greet and then you were gone. I did as promised and attended with Lunar Lander blue nails...but you never got to see them, so here they are....
(you can't tell, but they're flaked too!)

All in all a good time was had by all. I'm sure we'll all be back next year. Hope I have something done to stick in the ba*****t......

You never know..................We all inspire each other in many ways. From the construction of a build to our different techniques to the homemade tools and tooling all the way to how our garages are set up.You just can pull inspiration from just about everywhere.......Even the guy or gal that has been working on the same car for ever and has a long way to go, and find themselves bogged down with progress because of family or money issues and lack of time, but they just keep chuggin away........Thats inspirational too..or atleast to me.........thats focus and one hell of a drive to hang on and alot of patience to boot...Hell everytime the cops pull me over. Iam inspired to figure out how I can make my hotrod just alittle more faster..he hee.....and thats the truth........................Littleman

Not sure if it was the locals, but I feel your pain.
Never lost anything at an event before, ever.
Now two in a row for Autorama.
And my stuff disappeared well after the show was "closed".
That is the part that pisses me off.

Glad you guys made it,the car looks amazing.

well plowboy, I can't bring your jack back, but we did find Norm (the shifter knob) and we got a call from our customer and he wore the jacket home..... so much crazyness and so many people, it gets really hard to keep your finger on everything.... The heart attack I almost had was almost justified, but thankfully both were unwarrented..

I had a great time (as always) and it was great to see all my out of state friends again, sorry I didn't get to spend more time with the majority of you...

And now I have a goal to get my car done for next year...and the showdown..

    Take care,

    HRD:cool:

It was cool to see all the Roth cars. Very unique.

The Ionia roadster is definitely awesome. Looks great in pics and even better in real life. Good job.

It was cool to see all the HAMB cars there.
Hopefully next year, I will have a car there too.

I bought all 3 MFS dvds also. Already watched all of them. :D They kick ***!

Also met Bob Bleed and Tuck and was given a genuine Canadian quarter from Tuck. I will cherish it forever!

Nick, sorry I ruined your chance with the ladies at the show. I seem to have that effect on women.
