I'd appreciate any ideas where to route my forward engine/lighting wiring harness from my drivers side fuse box through the firewall or maybe below. I need a bit of input before the holesaw comes out. Got 3 pedals , master cylinders below the floor. thx
I prefer to fill all the holes in the firewall and route the wires down the inside of the firewall and down to the frame so they are not exposed,,to me a bundled of wires are a distraction . HRP
I do what Danny said too. Doing that now as a matter of fact. I have 3 grommeted holes one on left and one on right side where the floor goes from flat to upwards angle and 1 on the botton front of the firewall. Used a black cloth wire loom to go from grommets to the locations I need to get to . Hope this helps. Almost everything comes up from bottom. Also made a bracket and mounted fuse block on p***enger side of cowl up high. Can't see it and easy access.
There is a slot between the firewall kick up and the subrail at the A post. I run the wires down the cowl and under the floor and thru the slot. If you are going to box the frame, maybe put a piece of tubing in the rail so wires can be run thru it.
