This was Rodgers true daily driver, year round ,any weather for the last 25 years. An all steel car with aged black, perfect rake, small block, stock tank.bumpers, all the right stuff.Couple of years ago he was parked with us,and you wouldnt believe how many will you sell it note son the seat and windshield.I think it was the last HOP UP that had a photo from Mortys St Louis visit. Went to see Rodger Sat,and it came up about the future of the coupe, and if its too bad to return to the street,he would beat it close to normal and build it into a stock car.His spirits are high and he has other options to build as a new driver .Glad to say he and the boy will recover
Good to hear they are both doing well and his spirits are in high. Still, there is no excuse for not paying attention. In a school drop off zone of all places.
Thanks Jim for the update on Roger's condition. I know Rodger and his grandson will be back at it in no time. If anyone can beat that deuce back to normal, Roger can. He is the best metal man there is. I'll be down to see you all soon. Mike ---------------------------------------------------------------------- opossum benders central missouri
thank goodness they will be ok .. and that they were not hurt in thier "hot rod" "altered" vehicle""70+year old car',,, really i am not trying to say anything bad about thier stuff .. useally the press is pretty critical of "US types".. seems not so in this case
Glad everyone is OK. What a loss. There aren't too many real 3 windows left. This was a puzzling statement though: "According to officials, a grandfather and his son, a student at the school, were rear-ended in their 1932 coupe by another car" What's a grown man doing still in high school? Best of luck!
