Do a search on the "Corrugated Flyer", Mr. Black, I think what you're describing is exactly what the chap did who put together this A sedan on 32 rails....neat car!

I've had an idea forever, but I won't be getting on my A/32 project ANYTIME SOON! So here goes, don't think I've seen this approach yet. I'd like to be able to keep the plan view sweeps of the deuce frame intact or maybe an ever so slight pinch....and would also incorporate a slight channel. Hope my quick-ee sketch makes sense....

I doubt that "how-to" article in BenchRace will indicate this, so please tell us how far back from the tip of the front frame rail (in inches) you put the step-down for the Model A cowl. Also, are the holes in the top of the frame rails just behind the step-down drilled specifically for mounting the Model A Body?

    Jeff,
What year of Model A? Jeem has a nice sketch for a 28-29. In case you are considering a 30-31, here is another thought. What I was doing on my 31 roadster on the deuce ch***is at the cowl was to add deuce lower cowl panels that adds a nice curve to compliment the frame feature. I did not get to the point of the 1" channel since someone wanted it more than I did, so it went down the road earlier this year.
