Author Elena Scherr puts a great spin on everything she covers and that recap is no exception. She really puts you in the middle of it and yeah, I'd take someone's word for that 3 AM thing too!
Glad that the tourism board of Victoria "purchased" the Deuce Days event to keep it going. That means, maybe someday I'll actually get there!?
I've obviously been living under a rock 'cause I had no idea you could sell an event like that for actual money.
So guys, better start savin' up. You know, just in case your favorite... uhhh... gathering... might someday close down.

 

I'm wondering.... Deuce Days has been every three years. Will there be one in 2032? 100 year anniversary? I'll be 95.

 

I would guess the next several dates are 2028, 2031, and 2034.
