Neither one, I saw this thread and thought it is an interesting concept. I was able to compare them and took a pic so others can see. The idea had never occurred to me until Larry mentioned it and people posted the pics.

Much better profile on the front of the frame, gives the whole front end a better look.(IMHO)
Great looking RPU`s going together, from the look they both have they should be outstanding when finished.

How do the A horns differ from the Deuce horns, besides being a couple of inches shorter?

Are they a little thinner? Do they curve down more sharply?

Gary go back one page and see the photos of them clamped to each other to answer most of those questions

Some cars look better than others with the Model A frame horns. Look at any Deuce where they've put the tank in the trunk and removed the rear horns for a pan or whatever, they look a bit awkward with the '32 front horns but more proportioned with the Model A horns. Given the stock tank location, they look more balanced with the '32 front frame horns. JMHO.:)

I found a pair of Deuce rails at Turlock, 1976, no crossmembers, and cut just behind the front crossmember rivet holes. $100, so I grabbed 'em.
I had a front half of a Model A frame, so cut it and grafted it behind the crossmember, used the '28 'A' front crossmember. (with the 'reveals' outside the 'U' bolts)
Looked so clean with the 'A' horns, '27 roadster body.
A year later, I put the frame back on the jig, and cut and grafted on some Jerry Kugel '32 frame front sections, but kept the '28 front crossmember.
'A' horns bugged me for most of that year...Prettier, but just NOT '32! Every time I walked by it.

Dusting off an old thread to see if anyone can add something new.
I think maybe smaller A horns and no front spreader bar looks best when you're trying to highlight the front axle.

Here'a coupe I saw a couple of years ago at the Jalopyrama (RIP:() and a nice clean & simple pickup.

I shortened my 32 horns slightly by making the 2nd hold the 1st and re-drilling a new 2nd hole.
Now viewing this thread, unknowingly I may have pretty much done what adding model A horns does...
