Hey Faith! When you called the other day, the message on my voice mail sounded kind of broken up; sometimes my phone don't work too good. Call me again later. Maybe friday. But I wont be at Flames though; got some business to tend to.

The deuce was down, but I worked on it all afternoon / night and all morning and got it back on the road today just in time for Bob's Big Boy . I had quite a few electrical issues following our crash scene. My friend Cole came by and helped me trouble shoot, it was cool, I learned a few new things. Monday morning the deuce was completely dead in the water following an entire night spent filming. I had to go to work that day . So after we wrapped, I figured out what was the problem and patched it up and hotwired my fuel pump and was able to make it home from Fillmore, where we filmed the 'after the crash' scenes. I was quite proud of myself for figuring it all out on my own. (proud, despite the fact that I was driving a hotrod without a hood, without a windshield, without a grill shell and with a jumper cable sticking out of the trunk and into the driver's compartment . I crossed a cop, he looked at me but did not do a thing.

Sheeesh... That was close LOL.

 

Faith, it was 1955 all over again! ggg

 

Well this Saturday is the EL BIGGO. The SAUGUS DRAGSTRIP scene. I'll be working all week, 24/7 to prepare for this one day shoot. This is the last chance to get nostalgia cars into the flashback section of the film.

I STILL NEED MORE CARS!! Who wants to bring their 1955 or ealier stock or hotrod period correct (or close to it) to the shoot and land a hand to this worthy endeavor? I could use the help!

Oooouuh, would really like to, but will have to wait for the movie to hit the cinemas/dvd-stands... It's a long way from Denmark, but you deffinently got my attention!!! Kuul project, will keep an eye out on the homepage frequently...

Wow! I just read about this movie for the first time and I am all kinds of excited. How cool a true hot rod movie being made by a girl. You are officially my dream girl! lol I can not wait to see this movie.

 

Hey, thanks for the kind words ... Yep, a whole bunch of hotrodders and cl***ic car owners helping to make this movie, so it's pure at heart. It's not made by a big corporation, by committee, for profit and it's not controlled by accountants, tax people and hollywood idiots. We all shed a lot of blood making this film, and it has been a labor of LOVE and that is why I think it will be remembered.

 

Like "literally" shed blood? As in BLEEDING?!?!?/


You know, an interesting DVD extra would be one of those "Zero Accidents Since ___" signs as a background with a scrolling list on top of it accounting for every injury sustained during the making of this film. That would PROVE that you guys really DID bleed for it.

Gonna earn cool points for that one.
