Art & Inspiration Deuce Roadster in bronze

What a great artist. I go to his website often just to study the detail on his bronze 32 roadsters. I had a chance to buy a small s'deuced when they first came out but it was to expensive for me at that time. I wonder what it would be worth today? I have used several Wanless windshields.

 

I'd like some details on his Bugatti.

Can't help but think how difficult it must be to melt enough bronze to 1900 degrees and then pour it into the mold for that casting. Does he use the lost wax process where
you only get one try?

The more I read about him, the more impressed I am.

 

You can also find Stanley Wanl*** bronze sculptures tucked away in several places around the Speedway Motors "Museum of American Speed" in Lincoln NE. The detail is just incredible.

I saw one of those sculptures at the 2012 Portland roadster show. He must have done a number of different versions .
Photos I took of it but the camera wasn't working that great in that building.

That one is not a small sculpture.
