Deuce springs?

Deuce Springs,... sounds like a nice resort....but what I`m after is a bit of info on stock 32 Ford springs.I have the stock spring packs back and front and want to take three leaves out of each..the question is which ones?

Do you take three straight off the top or do you remove every other leaf from the top?I`ve got a reversed eye main leaf to go on the front and want to soften the ride as well as lower it, but don`t want to compromise the working of the spring by doing something without asking first.I think the leaf pack allows for progressive springing so I guess it matters how you go about this.

should have said..the car is a roadster..if that makes a difference weight/calculation-wise.

 

Start with every other leaf to soften the ride. You can fine tune it my removing smaller or longer leafs.
