There's a gennie, Deuce three window body and frame coming up for sale http://forums.aaca.org/f169/1932-ford-3-window-deluxe-all-392121.html Not mine. Too rich for the Po' Boy
Larry, offer the Chevy fordor as an even swap. That is a fun read, wonder who the lucky new owner will be. Bob
She looks pretty sound from that angle. I'd love to see what you'd make of it. Hopefully the mouldings and dash are with it.
LOL Larry doesn't check his bank balance he just buys what he wants and worries about it later. I wish carl had money I would like to watch him build it. LOL not correct frame is just a good excuse to channel it. And its a rumble seat car so you could set the engine way back and make a fuel coupe out of it if you wanted. (Note this is why gawd don't let me have cool stuff )
It would be wasted on me. I sold off all of my stuff a few years ago after realizing I was becoming "one of those guys". You know, "I'm gonna get it running one of these days." Got rid of my 50 Stude, 40 Ford COE, 25 "T", Austin Healey 3000, 3 Cushman scooters, a Mustang bike and a Whizzer. Now, fixed income has become a reality and I have to remain content with my bike, a 350/385 hp Boss Hoss (sort of a hot rod???) and my woodworking projects. I'm hoping that a cheepo project car will show up at my doorstep one day You can view some of the insanity here http://jkcallin.blogspot.com/
Who has to liquidate a collections of nice 32's and other desirable old Fords that nobody knows about, and then has no idea what they are worth?
Quote: Trying to get some help on what an all original 1932 3 Window Deluxe (Suicide Doors) may bring $$ wise??. Or a close enough "asking price". Car would come with the original title. Floor has been cut out. Original Doors and Rumble Seat lid on the car. Trying to move some "junk" the Father in Law has collected over the last 40 years. Body was purchased in the 70's and was towed on a "not correct" frame converted to tow it from NY. Been sitting as towed since that time untouched.. I can take some pictures tonight. This is what the OP that posted wanting help evaluating them wrote
Someone should have told us that our golden years were going to be lead. We bump heads once in a while, maybe more often than is prudent but I understand where you are I think we live in the same neighborhood or pretty close. All of my hot rodding these days occurs on someone else's dime. I keep my shovel for reasons that most would not comprehend. And I have an old beat up truck that has been for sale for so long that I have pretty much decided that it would make me good cold weather transportation. Everything else is either sold or on its way out. The car would not be wasted on you if one of us hit the lottery.
Big deuce, It will make a great screen saver pic. for sure.....Would that take your breath away to walk around the corner of some old building and see this setting there in all it's glory.........Thyings that dreams are made of... Love it....
I Agree with 383 deuce . That's what Dreams are made. The thought of what it was and the blank canvas of what it could be.
I sure don't need a 32 Ford. I've got more dreams than time and money already. But it's fun dreaming if someone gave it to me!
The 3 window is sold. The father in law knows what the delivery is worth. It's not for sale. But things change! Exciting stuff to see pics of a real 32 sedan delivery! I got a deucegasm just thinking about it!
nope...but I got my eye on one here locally...talked to the deceased owners widow and she said she saw them go for big bucks on Barrett/Jackson ...so she wants $60,000 for it.
