I was asked by an old-timer in town to sell this windshield frame for him. I believe it's a '32 Ford but I'm not 100% sure. It's 12 1/2" tall in the center, and 43 1/8" wide across the bottom. It's in very good condition, I can't see any rot in it at all and the original glass is not cracked or cloudy as far as I can tell. Any idea on what a fair value for it would be?
Al, It looks like a 32 sedan/5 window. The re-pops that are chromable are about $300. Some of the gennie's are too far gone to chrome. Hope this helps. Duane
I wouldn't pay big for a windshield frame that I couldn't see the channels in. That's where the rust breeds. Scrape the rubber from the outer channel, and break the glass and sealer out of the inside. Then you'll get twice as much for it. If it really is rot free, it's worth the $300.
