Were any of you guys at Wings in Seagoville when we tried this a few months ago?

I attended 3 of the weekly Wed. night hangouts at Wings, but it kind of died off after a month or two. I'd be up for trying it again if a place is settled on.

Thanks Bart, I may try to make the Dairy-ette show Sunday. I liked the Wings crowd but weekdays just don't work well for me. There is decent turnout every Thursday evening at a burger joint (I don't remember the name) in Rowlett, NE corner of Dalrock and Hwy.66.

The Burleson thing just started up a month ago. I went to both of them they have had so far. About a hundred cars there both times. It is every other Saturday evening starting about 6:00PM till ??? The next one is this coming Saturday night, it will be the 3rd one. There is no entry fees & no prizes or trophys, just a large get together of old cars. It is at Kentucky Fried Chicken on Hwy 174 in the old Walmart parking lot. Plenty of parking space!
It is real similar to the I-20 & Little Road get together on Friday nights. But there are some different cars at each one. I will be going to the Burleson one this Saturday.

Thanks I will try and make is Sunday. Ran into a shock mount issue, gonna try and get that ironed out by Sunday. Nice thing is Dairy-ette is so close I could limp over :)

  8. Kellers really does a good job now.
I have spent quite a few Wed eve there with the OTM.

If you call ahead they will ***ign you a waitress.
And plenty of parking in the back.

Good Burgers and the only joint I know in Dallas that serves Beer outside.

You can sit at home and whine, or give 'em a shot. ;)
I'd drive in for that, infact I may stop by there on my way home tonight.

  17. Funny story. I worked at the John Deere warehouse on Harry Hines for thirty years. Ate at least a ton of Keller burgers as they were across the parking lot from us. I still think #5 is one of the best in Dallas.
The suits would come down from the North, and see us chowing down these "Killer" burgers and want to know where we got them. We would send them across the parking lot, and most of the time they would come back empty handed. " I'm not eating ANYTHING that comes from that dump!!" We always thought, "suit yourself, " I still sneak by once in awhile. "#5,no tomatoe, tater tots, and a Bud"

At 14 years old my first truck was a '62 F100 SWB unibody with a 223 / 3 spd. I got so used to driving it with the front end loose that when I finally got a car with a good front end I could hardly keep it on the highway. Lots of good times in that old truck.

That Kellers #5 sure looks good.
