If you have nothing going on, the GM plant in Arlington is having an open house Thurs,Fri and Sat from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM. Its the plants 50th year and they are having open house for 3 days. Took my son this morning and he had a good time.You get to tour the plant and they have lots of things set up outside for the kids. Games,bounce houses and prizes all for free for the kids. It kinda cool to see all the cars come down the line being ***embled if you have never seen it. Its all free if you got nothing to do. Had my HAMB shirt on and actually met a HAMB guy I never met from the area out there today.
I hear there is a pretty large car collection upstairs at the Arlington plant. Were you allowed to check that out as well? And is the Ennis swap meet both sat and sun? I'll have a busy weekend.
No upstairs but they have some cars out front like a 54 Pontiac and an 87 Monte Carlo that they kept when it rolled off the line and of course all there new models they are trying to get you interested in.
The problem is that there is too much stuff to do this weekend...but I'll give you one guess where I'll be.

Power Tour registeration tomorrow 2-6PM. Saturday is the big day, starts 8AM, "m***ive car show and kickoff party hosted by Painless Performance". This is per page 70 June HRM. Meeting my son in Ennis Sat for swap meet, going to try to get in power tour early afternoon, then that evening there is a car show or cruise or something he wants to try to make. I'm tired already just talking about it much less making the 3 hr drive up early Sat morn. Sounds like a big weekend for car freaks in Metroplex.
The "Grey Poop-on" car show is in Rockwall this weekend http://www.cruiserockwall.com/ We'll be at the car lot as usual on Saturday night.
