The new website is up and contains many of the details of the show. www.manifoldsonmain.com

High School Caesar will be performing at the show. They are always a crowd favorite.

Pre-registration is open. Download the form from the website and mail it in with a check. It is only $10 and you get a shirt!

You can register at the show but if you pre-register by Sept 17th you get a free t-shirt. Slide did the art and the shirts look great!

We will 12 classes plus 5 special awards geared towards Hot Rod, Customs and Traditional cars. Heck, we even have a class for Longroofs (did you hear that Gotgas?) We plan on having some amazing hand-made custom trophies to present to the winners.

So far we have commitments to make trophies from the Chupacabras, Wilson Welding, the Torques & Hami. If you or your car club is interested in making a trophy please PM me.

I need the fellow North Texas HAMBers to help prove to the City that we can have a great car show without having a bunch of late model, big wheeled cars and cars with time-out babies on their bumpers. Yikes!!!

We will see you there. And all the other great shows in DFW in Aug/Sept.

More details to follow on some historic cars that will also be at the show.

I just got off the phone with Bart a little while ago, and this is shaping up to be a real cool show.

I'm looking forward to being there!

Things are coming together very well for the show.

We can add THEM! and Brink Racecraft to those building trophies.

Thanks to everyone who has already pre-registered.

See everyone at the Invasion this weekend!

    UPDATE:

Pre-registration is going really well and has exceeded our expectations. We have some great cars and motorcycles coming to the show.

Today we added a Norton Atlas/Commando motorcycle to the entry list. (featured in the May 2007 Cycle World magazine)

Also just added the "Blair's Offy" Sprint car to the list. The 1959 Hank Henry 270 ci Offy that was owned by Blair's Speed shop in Pasadena Ca.

On on the midget side, Grant Grumbine is bring out his Dryer midget that has set records of over 130 mph at Bonneville.

I have seen some of the custom trophies and they are looking outstanding!

A free t-shirt with pre-registration is ending soon. Get your entry form in this week to be included.

Doesn't look like I will make it, but might have someone bringing my car in my place and I beleive the other Torques will be there. Good luck, this has the makings of being a top notch event folks...

    Thanks Tony.

I think BigKen is coming down for the show. He's bringing a trophy.

Can't wait to see the trophy from Fat Lucky's. I should have it by the end of the week.

You can still pre-reg...you just don't get a free t-shirt.

    Glad you are coming.

    Dig that car!!

  19. Bart-

I may not be able to come, so I'm not sending in a Pre-reg. just in case. I hope I can, I'm just not sure at this point. I'm sure it'll be a great show!

Just found out Big State Drug will be staying open all day for the show. It is great little drug store soda fountain. They serve some great shakes made with real Blue Bell ice cream.

Burgers, sandwiches, salads and the such.

Cool cars, good eats...we are in for a great day.

Also I got another amazing door prize in on Friday. A signed die-cast from 4-time Indy winner A.J. Foyt. Plus we have Stars home opener tickets, jersey, hats, etc.

  24. Missed the T shirts, can I buy one? I should be there, on at least the bike, sounds like there'll be some stiff competition. Can't wait.

Yes to the t-shirt. In fact I talked to Marcy and added to the order because it appears we may have lots-o-cars!
