I have a 48 truck motor and 3 speed in my bucket T, and the clutch is hard to push in. This setup uses a wilwood master cylinder and a pull type slave cylinder. I have tried to work with the throwout arm length, but it just barely releases now, so a longer arm is not going to work. Has anyone tried a diaphragm clutch for this application? How about a throwout bearing? I have heard that some diaphragm clutches have the ends of the fingers shaped to work with a flat surface throwout bearing like the stock 48 bearing.
