Hey Grimlock, I don't get a lot of things, but what I do get more than makes up for 'em!!! I corrected the former. My point quite simply is that it was a goofy comment and should be treated as such, no more no less.
what's really outlandish is you place some sort of importance on your registration date and that it somehow makes your opinion more plausible. Geez, you've been here 11 months longer than I, I bow down to your highness. I didn't realize that an opinion from anyone that has been registered longer nullifies all latter registrants opinions. If the "If you cant say something nice, keep it to yourself", rule was in effect most of the posts would cease to exist. Simply put, I think a more correct statement from you would have been that your "lack" of a life is none of my concern. You need to get a thicker skin especially when it comes to cars and this place. How anyone could take that statement literally and get upset is beyond me. [/ QUOTE ] Who pissed in your lunchbox? I was pointing out for your benefit that 'no, I dont believe my stay here will be shortlived'. Nothing else. As for the rest of your interpretations..., well, cant help you with that. As I said I get it. Its a joke. It dont bother me. Who's upset besides you? If you go back to my first post, all I did was pose a rhetorical question asking why people felt comfortable bagging on one engine choice but not others, if they knew that it could insult a person, and implying that it would be better to cite the praises of a persons car rather than criticizing. Forgive me for suggesting harmony. Whatever, Midnight Cowboy. Thats it, Im out.
The Small block chevy... The only engine that gets slammed because its too cheap to build, makes too much power for the cost, has too many parts available, and is too reliable. do we have to slam other engines to like what we run better?
You guys are sumtin' else. BTW, it IS cool to meet some these old timers, good on you Rob. Oh, SBCs ****!!!
Nice to see a post about Kraft, The first car I ever drove I was 6 years old....."Highland Plating Special" as I knew it or the old Kraft T, my father drove it back from CA in 74 or 75 and kept it till the late 80's, ****s that's it's gone know but is still only about 40 minutes away. ---------- Injectors
It got ****-****ed (totaled) in rush-hour traffic. It's no more! Just bought that yesterday. Not quite the same on gas, but now I have a better response when ricers give me the ring-ring rev-off!
It's not the skateboard wheel look...the 520s are on 7s. For some reason, the rears won't grip the road when I hit the throttle, even lightly! Airbrushed flames are by LaValle, w/ a bird-flippin' skull on the tailgate and some whacky **** on the hood. My mom's a big fan of it!
Ill bet that thing looks good driving past the people at the bus stops on Magnolia...I sometimes got the "West Coast" from some brotha in the 60....
Homer, as I stated in my answer to Grimlock I completely missed the registration reference and corrected it before you posted, my fault. As far as harmony around here, what fun would that be?
Heres 450 hp and 450 ft lbs of torque.......... it idles just like a stock 318........ But it ain't no sbc
I cant beleave no one here has heard that saying before. My Mom used to have the best outlaw biker party`s back in the 70`s and I remember seeing a sticker on a helmet that said "better a sister in a ***** house than a brother on a Honda". Stupid saying back then too, considering I had to kick a bunch of those raggedy *** Harley`s for the "bad ***" drunk bikers while the guy`s on the 754s were heading down the road!
