Dick Landy - R.I.P.

HORRIBLE, but he had a GREAT run/life. Ronnie Sox, Mazmanian, etc. You grow up looking up to these guys as legends of our sport(and they are). I think it kinda makes us forget the part that they're human like all of us. R.I.P. All the guys from that era were a huge influence on me, HUGE!

 

What a shame, 69 is too early for such a great mind to leave us. His son has big shoes to fill. Prayers and thoughts to his family. RIP

 

A great man and a good personal friend. I'll miss his phone calls.

RIP, ****. Many people dont realize that he was the man behind Ron mains flathead Ford powered streamliner that went over 300 at Bonneville. A true engineer, not just a tinkerer. He will be missed.
