**** Spadaro has Glioblastoma. He is being treated at Albany Medical center , in Albany ,NY. Cards may be sent to **** Spadaro Early Ford Reproductions , PO Box 617 , Altamont ,NY 12009. **** Spadaro Early Ford Reproductions continues to operate for business. The store will be CLOSED FOR VACATION from Wednesday August 27th , reopening on Thursday September 4th. Business will be as usual with Bill. **** and his family and close friends thank everyone for the cards , calls and prayers. Thank you Frank Spadaro
If I were able to speak with **** I would tell him that he made a real contribution to our hobby and has always seemed to be a top amb***ador of goodwill to all around him. My guess is that he had an impact on many not involved with cars at all. I wish **** and his family the very best in deciding on the future.
Best wishes for everyone involved. It's not just the patient, the big C takes a little part of everyone as well.
My friend just returned from the Albany area after visiting with a friend in that area. Apparently Bill is selling off everything as John (the friend) has purchased three truckloads of various hot rod products. Does not sound good at all. I will keep **** in our prayers for sure.
The rumors that start always have some truth , but grow as a Cancer ! The truth is the sale of said parts to John was a long standing deal , that just finally came to be , yes in fact speeded up by ****s illness. ****s business is about the same as before , just he is not roaming the USA buying and selling. **** has am***ed many NOS and used parts as we all know . Now is the time , as hospital care is costly even with insurance to use some of his "retirement". I would like to ask this forum , unless you know exactly from Bill or I what you say here , Please do not start threads of doom or gloom . Thank you Frank Spadaro
Just placed a large order with Bill who said no problem he had it covered. Let's support **** and Bill by doing business with them as long as we can. This hobby is lucky to have such knowledgeable people willing to work with us. Gary at Cornhusker
^^^Yes. I have a quickchange to build and need to call and order some parts this week. I will have Mr. Spadaro in my thoughts.
I'm laying here w/ pneumonia, & thought I feel bad. All my best to my ol friend **** his family & close friends. Many years we had drinks together @ York usually free thanks to R&C because we were advertisers (for years). **** & I would meet up @ a swap meet somewhere, & he was already carrying the best parts. He could see a Deuce shell or windshield frame from 2 rows over. He & I and other real hot rod guys use to really have good times @ the Nats around the country, especially @ York. Some of you remember : the 80's & 90's. Before they let in Toyotas, Hondas, Corvettes @ **** like that. Please tell **** I remember THE days too. Alan Thornton the "Flatlander" hotrodflatlander@aol.com
I too have been thinking about **** and haven't heard any news lately,he is in my thoughts and prayers,,I hope you get to feeling better soon Alan. HRP
Thoughts and prayers to the Spadaro family. I just lost a brother to cancer. I wish we could quit buying bombs and bullets and invest the $$ in finding a cure for this mean, miserable disease.
Just sorting out some parts today and found a set of NOS 11 tooth spiders the came from ****. An all time flathead guru and super nice guy. All the best **** and family.
