I have looked but can't find ....I'm looking at building a channelled '32 Roadster for a Customer and we are leaning towards an East Coast style ...ie. Channeled , grille out front , cycle fenders etc etc. There is a distinct look that I'm going for ... the sort of stuff that turns up in Andy Southard photo's etc.

Can people please post up some inspirational pics for me ....Thank you

Thank you very much .....the blue one is exactly the type of thing .....

I don't know why more 'East Coast' style cars don't get built here in Europe , they are more Europe friendly with fenders , bonnets etc.

I love a full on traditional 'West Coast' car as much as the next man ( or woman ) but theres something about an 'Easty' that floats my boat too.....

Is that a truck grille modified ?

    Any other pics , please ? !!

  7. Lancelot - Paul Fitzgerald (the guy who built the blue 32) is still around. That is a truly amazing car, built very much as I would think someone in the UK might. It is very reminiscent of some of the pre-war MGs. It has IFS made with Willys Uprights and alot of other cool features. I'll see if I can find some more shots of it.

Oh and it is a 37 Truck grill.

How about a Texas built car with a left coast pinstripe job (Roth) that looks like an east coast car. I think it even has a drawer pull grill insert. It's got some updates that ya'll might not like (exhaust covers, etc), but it is a surviver.

  11. In that pic of the Fitzgerald car,the Model A coupe behind it is Herb Dreher's and I believe the roadster further back is the Bannister Brothers Deuce that Larry Hook is currently restoring.

Forgot that Paul belonged to the Nomads which is why he is running the traditional Nomads numbering(#69 with various fractions afterwards).Paul being an engineer of course had to have the square root symbol around his.And of course we all know that the square root of 69 is......"ate(8) something".

    Here's a couple I've posted before:

  18. This is an old pic of my 32. I have more, if I find em, I'll drop em on you.

Car is being set up way different now, so those pics wont help.
