So many great deals...I was amazed at some of the buys.

Congrats Holly! Couldn't go to a better home.

yups, I picked up the Von Dutch Lathe, nailhead dragster, and the Lincoln V12 intake. Prices were awfully low for most of that stuff. good deals. I figured many of those cars would bring a lot more money, but seemed like there were more spectators than buyers... The damn dragster was just too cheap, the parts alone are worth a hell of a lot more than that...

Pretty Damn Cool to see so many HAMBers bought cars and parts. With Ralph being a member on here it's like they are still a part of the family.

Coby - Do you think that belonged to Oscar Kovaleski, from Auto World and PRDA? Awesome, either way........

Yes. It was Oscar's shirt. It came with a couple Auto World stickers from 1967, 3 photocopied letters of correspondence between Oscar and Ed. 2 photos of Ed (one with Oscar), and all the info from the ebay purchase when Ralph purchased it.

Yes i know, infact it was "bobber" and not bobber!:D
I personally thought that a bobber truck was another thing, kinda ratty,
and that the Rudys truck is totally neat!

Adonis for 30K???????? La Jolla for 24??????
    What the hell!
Im happy for you guys! really!

Met up with Mark Moriarity last night at the Mtka. Drive-In (last night of the season). He's pretty happy about getting the Mega Cycle back in his possesion. Just not sure where he' going to put it. Told him he will have to add on to his house, to add it to his collection!

Yeah, I told him I would "store" any of his pieces at my place for as long as he needed.......I've got a doorwall so something could go inside the house. I wanna be just like Mark when I grow up. :D

  19. Just a question: Did the Deora go to a Museum, or private owner?

Holly bought Harry Bradley's La Jolla, not the Deora truck. The question remains......

The Deora went to a good home in the Detroit MI area. A guy who has a nice car collection and usually has his toys at Autorama, Woodward...

If I had to guess who it was, and I really don't know, but I would guess it would be "Mr Sha-boom" from Dearborn as he has a large car collection of alot of iconic customs. He was not at the auction but he could have had someone bid for him, or done it online or phone. He also drives alot of his on a regular bases and shows them at the Detroit Autorama.

He's having a large party in a couple of weeks. I'll make sure I peak under all the car covers.:D
