You have a Franklin steering there, I think...post better pic of that! Commonly used on race cars, very fast ratio

Good find! It's a Franklin, did you get the tube front axle and steering box? The front fenders behind it look to be 26-27 model T Ford items.

  15. Wicked find!

You'll be the first kid on your block with one of those!

I think Franklin as well. That year grill shell inspired a whole roadster/modified in my head. . . Someday I'll build it.

The front axles are big bucks and are way cool.

What's there would be perfect for my boat tail speedster project. What do you need in trade? Or I should say what are you hunting for that I might have?

  22. For a second there, I thought you might have found a Henway...

This is a front quarter window I believe, see if it fits in the top of the cowl section. [IMG]

  26. No scrap! Beaut stuff.

  27. Well, it's older than 1929, we have a '29 Franklin carcass here.

  28. looks to be around a 1915 from the shape of the grille/hood.

I'll lay the pile out today, its only sheetmetal, it has the two cast alum quarter window and a back window roof section that stinks like a sedan, no chassis or engine stuff, only the stuff to build a race car and not feel bad about it...... its a tilt front-end, instant bitchen.
he also had a 77 pinto wagon for you guys that aren't into early Franklins
