Earlier this morning I started a thread asking if the Gen 1 small block had gone the way of the flathead and now, I can't seem to find it. I've looked for it all the way back to page 10 and didn't see it. I even did a search for it. Did it get deleted and why? I got no explanation in my DM's as to why it got deleted. if the mods are going to delete something I'd appreciate an explanation as to why.

That strange, it's usually followed by an alert when it's happened to me.

did you check "your content" file? should show there. Its happened to me before too

  4. Sometimes the mods tell ya why , sometimes not .

sometimes it’s not what you posted , but some of the reply’s that make a thread get the boot .

you can try sending a pm to a few of the mods n see if they respond and give an answer .

If it's some of the replies, it usually just locked.

  6. I’m not sure , but if your thread gets reported twice it automatically gets pulled off the page .

maybe someone didn’t like the thread and hit the report ****on a couple times

I always send a reason when I delete, I did not do this one. the notification you receive will show up in the lightning bolt, not as a pm. If I had to guess it had to do with the LS part of the discussion but I don't know. look in the lightning bolt for the reason. I am moving this to Q and suggestions. These threads don't belong on the main board

I checked my "content" file and my "threads" file, and it seems to be gone. I still would like a simple explanation as to why it got deleted. Maybe it's because I mentioned LS engines.

@Moriarity I was just about to suspect you again! :D I just went back and checked my notifications "lightning bolt" and found it was deleted at 8:42 this morning and the reason was because of the LS is not traditional or something like that.

It has been deleted, I posted to it and now it's not on my post list.
I suspect the comparison of popularity of SBC to LS is the problem.

Yes - reason was sent to you and thanks for checking out the Lightning Bolt.
LS Engines are too new / not HAMB Traditional.

    Thanks.

The whole Traditional question has me wondering about this photo I saw today.

Are late model Cad taillights OK? Not sure what those door handles are.
