Projects Did some priming this weekend... 53 Olds 2 door choptop

This thing is slowly coming together, sometimes it seems too slow.

The coolest part of this weekend was by brother came up and it was like old times.

The 3rd and 4th pic are from June 1996.......fast forward October 2008 (5th pic)

Its a family thing.

Thanks guys, yeah actually it brought us closer together. Another plus; we've also learned to wear respirators and face masks

After looking at some pics from back then, no goggles, no respirators, welding in shorts and sandals, man it was a trip.

Yup, this is the one.

The body still needs work, but after 8 years I am getting impatient. I am going to put it all back together and work on the body some more, but at the same time be able to drive it at least. Trying to take this on as a whole is overwhelming. I need to break it down and do things in sections. Besides the wife wont let me start on the '57 or even touch the '36 until this one is closer to getting done.
