Got a nice drill press for the shop and a new MIG welder! also got an oil pump drive rod from ARP for my Y Block 312 build.
I got a really neat kick shift plate for fx harley transmissions! I also got some shirts and stuff. Also, my dad covered my registration for this year, so pumped on that.
dang i must have got a lump of coal then. i got a leather wallet with little skulls and cross bones and thought i done good,
Scored some cash toward rechroming the '54 grill! Figure it's probably pretty expensive, so I'm still saving...
My wife got me a new floor jack (the other 2 have seen better days, and the Larin just started leaking oil everywhere). She also got me a welding jacket so I stop coming back from the shop looking like a lobster after a several hour tig welding session (or after burning in some heavy welds on 1/2" plate etc with the big MIG) - says I look stupid with a sunburn in Dec/Jan in WI. Then last but not least, a shrinker/stretcher set, and some sheet **** weld clamps.
New furnace for the house and a water heater, both went within a week of each other. But I have my health.
My son gave me a new Holley Ultra 750 double pump, electric choke carb for my '56. I had alot of trouble last year with Q-Jet and an old Holley with a bog. I imagine he is looking forward to road testing the LT1 350 once it runs right. Last year he gave me a line lock and never got to try it. I imagine there will be tire smoke once the snow melts and spring is here. Pete
