Not George but you'll all recognize this autograph. One of my favorites.

  3. Here is one I rediscovered in a box, guessing by the patent date that it is from 1965, Adams dragstar, not sure if there was an actual car. 9AFB8E9D-AA5B-43F5-ACD3-0E06680C4FBC.jpeg

  5. @daylatedollarshort Are the last two digits the year? Isn't that 69?

I looked it up, released in 1972. That's a very cool piece! I don't remember ever seeing one.

  6. Yup on second look 69. Even has a push plate on the rear. D63DDF21-81AE-49C7-AC89-A345E0B7C184.jpeg

  7. Is that spring loaded? I saw photos online of them and the push plate appears extended out.

On further investigation, Corgi calls it a "wind break" and says it clicks into position when you push the front nose cone.

  8. Yup right again, the push plate and nose cone are connected. This must have been a great toy in its’ day.

A Diecast 38 Panel I converted into a 37 like the real one we owned in the early 80's.

That’s a 1/16 scale ALFA ROMERO made in Italy in 1979.
