Here is one I rediscovered in a box, guessing by the patent date that it is from 1965, Adams dragstar, not sure if there was an actual car.
@daylatedollarshort Are the last two digits the year? Isn't that 69? I looked it up, released in 1972. That's a very cool piece! I don't remember ever seeing one.
Is that spring loaded? I saw photos online of them and the push plate appears extended out. On further investigation, Corgi calls it a "wind break" and says it clicks into position when you push the front nose cone.
Yup right again, the push plate and nose cone are connected. This must have been a great toy in its’ day.
