I have the Danbury Mint version of the Highland Park Diner in my collection. The actual diner was owned by a local collector Bob Malley who we used to see around town and at shows with some of his beautiful, restored vehicles. The diner is still in operation here in Rochester, NY.
I bought a Matchbox (now owned by Mattel) Deuce 5-window coupe at dollar general for a $1.25.. I'll post a picture of it later...
Here you go... Figure I could use it in a parking lot scene with my HO slot car track next time I set it up.....
Well, it ain't worth nothing now... It's out of the package.. I do apologize for the crappie pictures... I used my cheesy samsung cell phone camera to take the pics...
I was feeding the fish, and thought hay it’s Diecast Tuesday. So some pictures. The old Chevy coupe was sunk 7 or 8 years ago? The pickup probably maybe 2?
Picked up some old Tootsietoy vehicles at a flea market. A couple days of rain cancelled some local cruise nights, so I spent my time restoring these for my collection.
Good Diecast Tuesday to ya! I have a good idea. Jump in the Hot Rod and go to Wal-Mart and get a new Hot Wheels. It will make your day go even better.
For a while, Johnny Lightning was making Aurora style HO slot cars some years back.. I have a bunch of those....
Ed. KQQL Moon eyes! { Sancho }, I had to go, and look at the bottem of it. It say's it's a { Zylmex Y 439 } 54 Chevy army ambulance. It came in a flat army green paint. But I painted it flat black way back when? Here's Rat Fink doing a Hemi swap.
