Good morning I don’t even know what cars I’ve posted? So I just walked over to one of the shelves and snap this shot. It’s been a long thread with a lot of cool pictures. Keep’em coming, and thanks Ed.
Still working on a late model diecast rollback I am making out of spare parts. I had a semi truck cab and chassis that was missing the front section. I also had a late model GM truck body only. Turns out the body fit on the chassis and even cleared the diesel engine. I cut the cab, made a metal back, built an interior from more spare parts and mounted it to the chassis. A friend gave me a broken Mobil rollback truck bed that I was able to JB weld to my truck chassis. Modified a few more pieces to fit my design and now have a nice custom 4 door rollback truck. Still want to come up with idea for making some kind of running boards for it. Made up too much JB weld one night and ended up attaching a 39 Chevy front clip left over from another custom to the leftover cab of the semi truck. I keep looking at it and trying to think what I might be able to make with it or maybe just haul it around on the bed of the rollback.
Yeah Ed. It’s not as cool out of the case. It’s just a toy to play with on the pond with the kids. It’s plastic, and remote controlled. But it is pretty fast, and lots of FUN.
Good Die Cast Tuesday to ya. Sam I really liked your 29 roadster. It’s had to believe that they came out over 20 years ago. They were my favorite. I’ll add a few pics of mine also.
I like finding them out of the box too. They're usually a lot cheaper. The black roadster I only gave a couple $ for. It was missing parts. But a great parts car, and Fun too play with.
