difference between 1951 f1 and f2

    hi any one know the
    difference between 1951 ford f1 and f2 trucks body \\\ any pics of hot rod f2's thanks joe:confused:

    I believe the only difference is F2 has a long bed F1 is short bed. There may be more to it.

  3. fenders are different and the bed is narrower on the f-2,f-3. f-1 is all by itself

    f1 is a half ton and f2 is a 3/4 ton. 5 lug axles versus 8 lug axles. f2 has a longer and beefier frame. fenders have bigger openings for wheels. Better to go for what is the same. Front axle, spindles, cab, hood, all steering parts, grille all the same. An f2 with f1 fenders and the long box looks good to me not sure if I have seen one hotrodded other than made into a 4x4.

    Self energizing brakes on the F2, along with all mentioned above
