Can someone clue me in to what the differences are between a 1940 Truck bed and fenders and a 1942 bed and fenders. They look pretty much the same to me. But I am no expert. I have a 40 chassis and what to build it up as a 40 Pickup.

    hahaha
To a Traditional Hotrodder, Ford is the the ONLY brand.
The 42 and up beds are 3" wider with of course a 3" wider tailgate.
Side panels and fenders are the same as pre 42
