    Hi , I'm building a 26-27 T Roadster . I got a "T" grill shell with it but it seems like
4 inches too short compared to the top of the cowl. The hood would slope down too much.
Are the late T shells taller than earlier ones?
    Thanks for your help.

  2. Simple answer? Yes. There's what's known as long & short rads.Think you've guessed it - 23 & up.

All I have is a 1917-22 low shell, top to bottom of the apron is 22 3/4, if the apron were missing it would be 19 1/2. The 26-27 shells came in br*** and steel, quick way to spot the br*** ones if they have been painted is the round hood lacing holes. Steel shells have square holes, br*** are round so thay wouldn't develope fatigue cracks.
