Hot Rods Difference in 37 Car and Truck Grill

1. So could some one show me in pictures the difference between a 37 Car and Truck Grill insert. The new project that I am starting has what appears to be a reproduction Insert and I am not sure if it is for a car or truck. It does kind of fit the car shell but the bars seem to be somewhat further apart and not as many as most of the Car Inserts I have seen. Not really sure what a truck insert is like. Thanks in advance

37 Chev truck grille is 3-4" taller,..more length below crank hole, ditto on 38 grilles.

 

On a ‘37 Ford, a truck grill has no insert. It’s a one piece unit with trim on it.
