Hello everyone. I’m building a ‘31 coupe. It came without fenders and I do prefer a full-fendered car. I just need to make sure I purchase the fenders that will fit this car properly. Are 28-29 fenders different? Is there a difference between coupe and roadster fenders? What about fenders from a Tudor sedan or a Four door? Finally, does anyone have some that they would like to sell? Thanks a bunch guys!
I have a set for a '31 Fordor sedan to sell. Where are you located? Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
I’m in Southern California in the Ventura area. Thank you! Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
28/9 are different from 30/1. Coupe, pickup, and roadster are the same, but different from sedan and phaeton.
Thank you! I kinda thought so, but needed some confirmation. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
As mentioned coupe, roadster and pickup use the same rear fenders. 30-31, 1930 have the small partial apron attached to the front fender, so you need the 30 aprons or remove the small apron and use the full 31 aprons. Some guys like how the 28-29 hugs the front tire. You can use the complete 28-29 fenders but need to use the 28-29 aprons and running boards with them. So for rear fenders, running boards notwithstanding, do the fenders all fit and bolt up to the rear wheel arch? I am in the planning stages, I have a 31 coupe- seems practical to me to put some wider fenders on that I have in inventory on to allow more flexibility in rear axle and wheel choice. They were bought as model A fenders, I have not laid a tape measure on them yet. I know someone here can help. Pictures would be above and beyond, thanks in advance.
