Everyone enjoys different things and doing things different ways. Personally I enjoy looking for things to upgrade my shop and my tools and my cars. Not only has that resulted in me having a great shop, but I have ac***ulated tools that allow me to do virtually any task in this hobby of mine. I may not be the most skilled at using all of them, but at least I' m seldom prevented from doing something because I don't have the necessary tool. Not only have I enjoyed ac***ulating a virtual ****nal of mechanic, body and Fab tools, but I have often either made money or managed to upgrade at no cost. My shop is not a pristine palace, but rather a concrete floored menagerie stuffed with adult toys ( no, not those kind of adult toys). Even though it's not spotless and decorated with memorabilia, I have had enough compliments from builders and buyers over the years to know most people would love to have it. For those people who consider it a waste of time or don't have the foresight to plan ahead, they usually never realize their dream. No one handed anything to me. My house, my shop, and a couple of other buildings for storage, painting, sand blasting and cleaning were all built with my wife and my hands and a hell of a lot of sweat. I wouldn't trade it for anything, and I wouldn't take any of the experiences back either. So if someone prefers to just quickly buy what's available, they usually are able to aquire much less of the stuff they want. If that's how they like to do things, then I wish them well. As for me, it's been great and I have one hell of a shop because my way works for me.......and I wouldn't have it any other way!
