I posted this in the other thread about this idea. So, yes, you are seeing doubles. No deja vu here!

    8pm Eastern time
    7pm Central time
    6pm Mountain time
    5pm Pacific time

I've got the DVR set to record the entire scheduled hour long show tonight from 7-8 local. If anyone wants it, I'd be happy to make copies of it and ship'em out to you for just whatever the VHS tapes and postage costs me. Probably looking at a couple of dollars for each copy delivered to you.

Send me a PM if you're interested. I might be able to get copies of Crab's videos and pictures and stab them onto a CD for the same deal.

Call it the Goztrider Express Package of Tulsa's '57 Belvedere Memories. (Hey, that doesn't sound too bad!)

I did miss the actual unveiling though, damnit. But I'll bet they show it during the hour long show tonight.

I agree she is a terrible host for a auto related event, Maybe her expertise is Macaroni Salad?? I don't know, but she was smart enough to agree with more than a few here that the car would be in nice "prestine" condition. Can't fault anyone for that. I wonder what the kid is going to do with the rusty piece of leaf spring? I'd imagine that the corroded leaf spring will bring big dollars on Ebay. Maybe the Casino in vegas will buy it as a tourist attraction to sit beside madonnas panties and the grilled cheeze sandwich that had an image of Chris in it. -Madonna, Christ and the holy ghost of Christine" Just Kidding, yeah really.

Man that interior shot says it all.
They should have just bricked it up in a city garage.
Thats one royal Government screw up.

Yeah, it's fucked up alright.. but if you think about it they accomplished just what they wanted to accomplish when they buried it 50 years ago. People all over the world have been watching and Tulsa is in the spotlight for the week. I bet those folks back then never could have dreamed of people watching this unfold live from different countries around the world. If they could have imagined it they probably would have sealed it much better to save themselves the embarrassment. LOL

Any info of the condition of the vault that caused it to deteriorate? Where did the mud come from? Must have been awful damp in there seeing as how many of our cars were stored with much less care, yet are in better condition.

  21. Now if the city of Tulsa had any balls at all, the one restored Plymouth they used to test the lift-out would be bought and presented to whoever actually won the original car, and let Boyd take home his trophy......

    What a Bunch of TArds!!
Is Boyd going to restore it or something?
Didnt they sell tickets to this show, I'd want my money back!!
Boyd and Dwayne are Homo's! The other guys in the shop are the Talent!!
Why didnt they just seal it in a cement bunker? I'm sure some ecological engineer knew in '57 that burring it WILL destroy it!!
    What a Bunch of TARDS!!!!!!!!!!

They did "seal" it in a cement bunker. Below ground level, within 1/2 mile of the Arkansas river. Destined for failure from the start. Welding it into a vessel like they did the time capsule might have saved it.
