Gary Roushkolb has been doing my TIG welding on the chassis and giving me plenty of wisdom a digger newbie needs. I first met him when he built the blower for my coupe. He's a class act and I'm proud to have him for a friend.

He got the blower for the digger together and emailed me these pics. :)

    Nice!

Is the rear bearing plate factory GMC under the Cragar cover, or is it aftermarket too?

It's a factory plate. I still need to drill the oil holes (to add and check the level) on it.

  12. Nice !

Im just about to start a rebuild on my GMC 6-71. No polish though, I want this one to look old, but work like a new one hehe.

    Nice job !

It'll be sitting on a boring ol' 354 hemi. I'd hoped to get the block filled this weekend but it didn't happen. Maybe this week. I'd like to have a running engine in July.

Gary loaned me the blower case in that pic so I could mock up the whole engine.

The trailer will be modified yet too. The cross pieces don't clear when loading and unloading so I'm going to step them down some.
