  3. We used the rear that came with Pinocchio's chassis, and attempted to build everything else around it. If I had it to do over, I should have sold that rear and cut one to be 2"-3" wider.
    Hind sight is always 20/20.

Don't beat yourself up...just get'r done on your schedule.

Good call Kerry!!!! It took me a LONGER TIME to get my digger built than I ever would have guessed, but I would do it the same way all over again. Make it so you're proud - make it so you enjoy the journey as well as the destination!! Seems to me you're doing it YOUR WAY - ain't anything wrong with that!!!!

    Keep us posted!!!!

I think you will be fine with the rear axle.

I few years ago, the late Pat Foster told me about the "10,000, 5 minute job list " and I am still working off it. Deadlines*****. Do your homework before going into the Black Hole of building a Dragster. It has taken me over two years starting from zero to fire my Fueler for 3 minutes I'll never forget. If you need any help, PM me. It will be all worth it.

Thanks much for the encouragement guys. It's all good! :)

Yeah, I've been forcing myself to drive it. Someone has to do it. ;-) I'm backing way off this year. I'm not dragging the slicks up. Abone and others have me totaly covered as far as the fastest street driven car.

  11. I spent the morning until it got too hot out in yard the finishing up my floor mat and getting ready to put the seats back in.

Hell I pretty much got mine up to underhood wiring and a fuel line. I still don't see me driving to MOKAN this year. I just don't move that fast any more and if it aint fun I'm just not doin' it.

relax Kerry, build it your way on your time line and enjoy it. If the world comes to an end you will have at the very least had a good time right up to the end.

Looks good BTW wide rear or not. Hell I knda like 'em with a wide rear. Cars too.

The car looks great kerry. Just take your time with it. Like you said the car can hurt you if you rush it.
