After about 8 months of work I rolled the "garage built" 37 Ford out for the first time today. She's got 63 Stude 289 with a Caddy 331 intake and a T10. A 40 banjo diff, and a 37 Hudson Terraplane grill. She's also chopped 7" and channeled 7", and frame shortened 12", box shortened 22". Thanks for Rudy Rodrigues and his red light district 35 Ford for inspiration.

Thanks to my sister Gill for doing all the art work on the doors.

  13. Laurie, Nice job man! That mill is really cool looking. Very wicked look to it. I suspect we will be seeing you in August at this years show in Tacoma with that bad boy. Show it off man. Shoot some more pics of it. You got a lot to be proud of with that. Love that Terraplane grill snout. Looks like it could suck the white lines off the pavement. Hey! The Worlds Fastest Coke Whore ! I dig it a bunch. Glad you got on board. Is Gill the same sister that graced our presence at last years show? Tell her I said hi if it is. Stay in touch. Dale

Great! The grille really works. I like the wheels and tires, and the exhausts. Are they a little close to the doors? Like the doors banging into the pipes when they're opened?

Noe THAT'S my idea of a true Hot Rod! Killer attitude. Killer stance. Killer Mill! LOVE the grille! Those "Zoomie" headers are just drop-dead cool! Post on, Bro!

...lookin' for a decent 41' Pontiac dash; No joke. I really am!

looks mean!!! i like it. nice combination of parts and construction.

  27. That truck looks good. Wish you had been here, posting progress shots, while you were building it. Welcome to the HAMB.

I really like the bead rolls & detail you made/kept in the bed. A plain, flat sheet bed would have been easier but you went to the trouble to add/keep the detail. People will notice - even if they don't know they notice. It really adds to the overall look.

These trucks are really neat. I don't have a desire to build one (too damn little for a guy with a wife & two kids) but I'd love to have a hard-chopped body, in primer, sitting in the corner of the garage just to look at. Guess I should have bought the '36 I was offered 15 years ago for $200. :(

That thing is freaking awesome. That terraplane grille is the best I ever seen on an RPU. That is absolutely beautiful. How much do you want to sell it to me for?:)
