No Gary it is not pinched, yes it will get flat at the firewall and be slightly channeled over the frame at the front, the rear sub rails I will make out of 1/8" plate and 2"X1" tubing, it has worked out best for me when doing these
Great build keep the updates coming. Is that a 30-31 2 door sedan back panel hanging in the rafters? If so do you want to sell it? I need a back panel for a sedan that I have.
Rusty...sure miss your postings on a regular basis....and its been a while since your pop posted anything Ya'll are missed here ..
Bill we miss you too buddy, been super busy in the shop, which means less internet time, I try to keep the build threads caught up, missed getting to visit at our drags
Been real busy trying to get all these sheetmetal projects going , heres some updates to the Lackey Coupe, got the firewall finished up and back in the car and have started getting the floorboard tied in, starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel
Nice work! I am always impressed with the quality and detail of metalwork that I see on this site, as well as the shared knowledge of various build techniques.
Been working on tying in the tranny tunnel and getting the 40 dash trimmed and fitted so I can start the steering column etc
REALLY LIKE YOUR FLOOR WORK....WISH I HAD THAT MUCH SKILL TO MAKE SOMETHING LIKE THAT FOR MY 3 WINDOW. MAY I ASK WHERE YOU BOUGHT THE GREEN ADJUSTABLE JACKSTANDS WITH THE ROLLERS ON THE TOP OF THEM?
I think the adjustable jackstands are greenlee, they make tools for the electrical trade, the stands can be used for rolling out large spools of wire....stick a pipe through the spool, set it on the stands and start pullin!......VERRY NICE WORK DIRTY!
