Disapearing threads

I don't know if its just my system or not but this morning if I view a newly created thread .....for example ....A Walther For Your Hot Rod.. and after reading it hit the "New Posts" button the thread will no longer appear on the list.It seems to reappear only after someone else has posted to it. It will stay on the list if I just hit the back button.

 

Once the system detects that you looked at it, it isn't "new" anymore. If you backspace it, it doesn't register that you viewed it.

 

When you hit the back button you get a cached copy and not a fresh page.

I think that it doesn't count as a new post until someone posts on it. Then the system recognozes a "new post" and send you to see what has transpired.

 

Yea all kind of goofy stuff like that.

I don't know about posts but I have threads disappear in my stats.

There are some threads that I started (that are H.A.M.B. acceptible) that are still out there, that don't show up in my statistics.

I don't get it!!!!!!!!! ??????????????

I'm not overly concerned about the credit but I'd like to keep track.

 

I've lost several posts I know I made. When I come back to the same thread later my new posts are gone, along with others. Gary

 

Havn't had that, but i have had something different happening since yesterday.
When i used to log on, all the new threads would be in bold print, with the old threads that had no new post's being in type just as the type in this post.
Now, ALL threads are bold when i log in.
I even checked 100 days back and they are still bold. That never used to be.
Not a big deal overall for sure, but makes it a bit harder to search the current stuff when you don't know whats new and whats not, or what thread has a new post.
I don't think anything on my computer changed, at least i havn't changed anything..but i'm also no pc bright at all.
