Newbie question.....I have never taken one apart and could use some help. I have a Halibrand QC 201 Torrance casting with early Ford bells and Currie axles modified for the big bearing new style Ford ends. The question is do the axle splines simply pull out with a slide hammer on axle shaft to unseat the end bearing? Or does it have some other fastener in the center section? Thanks for your help.
