After a long pissed off fight with the **** Auto city cl***ic sells I am looking for a new master and booster to work on my conversion. After two bad masters and a bad booster I am done with the white box ****. I am loking for a quilty parts that will work without all the h***le. Anyone knows of a good compo that would plug right in? I even see they stop selling there **** on Ebay under Toms cl***ic.

Not to Hijack this thread, but I'm not too good at emailing...Dave: do you get into disc brake conversion kits for the rear as well? ('57Ford). I've got yours on the front.

A 2 wd explorer rear axle is 59 1/2", should work under your 57 seems to me without a big h***le.
You can get disk brakes, 31 spline axles, and traction lock along with 355 and 373 ratio are common.
The salvage yards are full of them, just don't get an axle from a 4 wheel drive they are off center.
I used a four wheel for my 54 by shortening the drivers side 3 " and a psgr side axle out of another
rear. A good one shouldn't cost you more then $300.00 and a lot less if you get it a pick and pull.
The last one I bought, that I pulled cost $101.00. I could have used it as it was but I rebuilt it since
I cut it down. After rolling the fender lip I can mount 255R70-15 no problem on my nifty Vicky.
