Doing a disc brake conversion on a 64 Impala and need some advice, where to buy, what to buy and whether or not it's worth going to bigger rotors extra calipers etc. Or is there used stuff that would suit the car well?

you're on the wrong forum. This one is for traditional hotrods. Go to chevytalk.com

I'd go with the bigger rotors. Impaula is a pretty big car.
    You'll need the stopping power.

I'm sure someone sells a kit if you can afford it. That way all the measurements have been done for you.
You probably would get better info at a muscle car site though.

Traditional hotrods that can't stop? He's under the cut-off on date . . . surely someone has done a little break upgrade or two? "Yea . . . I do like my new Kia hood ornament a bit better . . . the last car I nailed . . . ." Yike!
