I am planning on switching to disc brakes up front on my 53 merc. I don't want a booster, I know I will need a dual master cylinder. I am guessing late 60 ford something. As far as rotors go I want to keep my original rims. If some machine work was needed on a caliper bracket I have a milling machine at work. Any suggestions would be great thanks Tim

I use 79/80 pinto master cylinders for everything.

Onm a "heavy " car its a****** to stop without a booster. M/C is critical, you can get small booster now, i would think about it.

Just put a booster in my F-100 and can't for the life of me figure out why I didn't do it sooner. That thins stops so well now that it'll smash you right into the dash if you're not careful. It stops better than my late-model Chevy truck now...

Find an early 90's Pontiac Bonniville at the junk yard.
Small compacked and all the restrictor valves are already
    there.
