I could not find this posted anywhere but O'reilly's Auto Parts sells discount spectator tickets for $16 instead of the gate or online price of $18.
You forgot to mention the $10 parking fee. $18 admission? Anyone wonder why they are called Greed Guys?
Though it might kill some of you guys to visit the site, you can $3.00 off coupons here... http://goodguysgiveaway.com/protouring
Yea it's crazy. We have a family of four so with food, admission, and parking it will be easily $150. I had already planned on spending around $2K there. Parking is only $6
No, I have never wondered that. I do wonder why people have something stupid to say......and then they say it like it's a public service announcement. If you feel it's too expensive, don't go. Some of us feel it's a value, we will attend and have good time anyways.
This post should be a permanent part of any thread complaining about the cost of just about anything related to our hobby/obsession. Frank
OR you could register your car for what $65.00 for all three days, all four of you get in for that, plus your car, fill the cooler up with food and beverages, done deal.
There isn't much that is cheap about hotrodding . . . ask the guys in the 50's what percentage of their income went into a new motor or their car in general? IMHO the cost of entry to GG is a small part of the weekend and I think it is a fair deal for the fun and experience in general. Hell, I go once a year - and look forward to it every dang time! Can't wait to go . . .
And do you know what the cost is for GG's to put this show on????? Liability cost alone must be huge. I rest my case...
