I could not find this posted anywhere but O'reilly's Auto Parts sells discount spectator tickets for $16 instead of the gate or online price of $18.

You forgot to mention the $10 parking fee. $18 admission? Anyone wonder why they are called Greed Guys?

Yea it's crazy. We have a family of four so with food, admission, and parking it will be easily $150. I had already planned on spending around $2K there.

    Parking is only $6

No, I have never wondered that.

I do wonder why people have something stupid to say......and then they say it like it's a public service announcement.

If you feel it's too expensive, don't go. Some of us feel it's a value, we will attend and have good time anyways.

This post should be a permanent part of any thread complaining about the cost of just about anything related to our hobby/obsession.

That's why I like you so much Denise, you are so smart. Will I see you next weekend?

  9. There isn't much that is cheap about hotrodding . . . ask the guys in the 50's what percentage of their income went into a new motor or their car in general?

IMHO the cost of entry to GG is a small part of the weekend and I think it is a fair deal for the fun and experience in general. Hell, I go once a year - and look forward to it every dang time!

    Can't wait to go . . .

And do you know what the cost is for GG's to put this show on?????

Liability cost alone must be huge.

    I rest my case...:)
