Disk brakes on a 50 poncho

    is there a way of swapping the drums for disk brakes on stock the 49-50 poncho spindles?

    I think probably the best way to upgrade your brakes if using a Scarebird kit www.scarebird.com, guys name is Mark. He sells the brackets and you buy everything else. It would probably cost about the same as if you swapped out spindles, but the scarebird route everything would come from a newer vehicle, example, I am in the process of doing my 53 olds, the calipers are from an caddy eldorado, discs from a pick-up truck, bearings from a GM auto, hoses from a Buick etc. pretty much over the counter stuff. I highly recommend Mark and his products.
