On a 1953 ford 6 cylinder 215. I know the firing order on the motor 1, 5, 3, 6, 2, 4. I need to know where the plugs go into the cap. I know its clockwise. The book does not show an illustration. thanks fellas.

if i can remember i will look at the tune up book at work tomorrow. but the best way incase anyone might have put it in wrong along the way is to remove #1 spark plug. bump the engineover holding you thumb over the hole. when it poff's that the compresion stroke. roll it to tdc on the timing pointer then the closest terminal will be #1 on the cap.

The illustrations in the manual are pretty vague, but this p***age copied from the manual says how it should be.

The only problem with this is you may not have a genuine or correct repro cap with the number 1 embossed on the cap.
