Distributor Drive Fuel Pump .... What the Heck is this thing????

Anyone want to guess?? I think its for a Lucas Metering System???? Diffently for V8 Chevrolet!

Already went to Kinsler .... They seem a little baffled by it?

 

I remember seeing something similar,
when we ran Can Am, in the mid to late '80s.
Some of the 5 Liter cars ran something like that.

Kinsler was the "go to" place to rework the Lucas metering body.

You've got the drive mechanism, but not the metering unit.
