Technical Distributor I.D.

    I have another post about my old Allen distributor machine. This is a Accel distributor I acquired at some point, but not sure what it fits. I "think" it was for a BBC as me and a buddy where building a cheap drag car around the same time I got the Allen machine. The project had a 396 in it if I remember correctly. The tag is torn and only has the first 2 digits of the model number (34). I dont know if it has much value and will probably just leave it in the machine, but I would like to know what it fits in case I or someone else finds a use for it.

    Looks to be a Chevy sb bb dual point

    I agree. Looks like it uses Ford points, though. There were dual point adaptor plates for Chevy distributors available and that might what Accel used.
