  3. I think it looks way better with the tire gone .

the louvred panel is a good “ for now” fix .

I agree a better treatment to the “ park bench “ or “ boat dock” needs to be figured out .

a different bumper as has been posted would be a fairly easy fix to clean it up and have it flow better.

Conti kits look good on some cars but in most cases I find they clutter up the lines of a car .

I like the idea of Merc bumper posted but its a bit bulky for me but the idea of getting or making a bumper that turns in closer to the trunk looks like the way to go, I found some pics on the net. the red Merc looks good and I like the ribbed tag area & I have a center section from a 60 el camino w/ tag lights. I kinda like the silver Merc w/ 55 Pontiac 2 piece they seem to kick in deeper towards the trunk, I just added the 3rd I am not crazy about but it makes you think. If I cut up my bumper & use the extra I have I'm sure I have what I need to do a smoother version of the top pic, my cost will be in chrome, it's gonna take some time but I will sort it out. I welcome more ideas.. thanks guys

Was that a fire chief's car? Looks like that bumper will accommodate 2 or 3 standing firefighters.
